Chahué Bahía Chahué is centrally located in Huatulco and offers a marina, beaches and a few public beach clubs. Several tourist services are located along the main boulevard, such as mid-range hotels and local restaurants specializing in Oaxacan, Mexican and international food.

Its beautiful beach, Playa Chahué, offers an amazing tropical vegetation and interesting rock formations. In this bay there have been several important music concerts supporting the preservation of the environment. Furthermore, Chahué Beach was recently awarded the “Playa Limpia” (Clean Beach) certification by the Federal Attorney for the Protection of the Environment - PROFEPA. This is the first beach certified in the State of Oaxaca. On any given day, you will find many local people enjoying exercise at this beach; some play beach volleyball, others beach soccer, jogging, yoga, and some just like to walk along the shore to catch the sunrise or sunset.

Marina Chahué is located next to Playa Chahué, between the areas of Santa Cruz and Tangolunda. It offers a total of 86 boat slips with electricity and water. There is also dry storage for trailers and residential housing with boat docks. the marina has been built to accommodate most sizes of boats, including mid-size ships and mega yachts. Mirador Chahué, located to the right of the Marina, is a brand new residential area that will consist mostly of homes and villas, yet to be built. Across the main boulevard, Sector O is another newly built neighborhood with small to mid- size family homes and very reasonable prices. The area boasts wide streets and sidewalks, feeling very much like a neighborhood in the US or Canada.
